SAM Junctional Tourniquet (SJT) is designed to control haemorrhage and bleeding in the groin or axilla areas. In cases where standard tourniquets cannot be applied, SJT can be applied in under 25 seconds, controlling bleeding and immobilising pelvic fractures.<\/p>\n

SQUEEZE SAFELY<\/h3>\n

The patented SAM AUTOSTOP buckle ensures that all the air is removed before inflating the PBA. When the optimum compression force is reached, two prongs are activated by clicking to confirm the correct application. The buckle is secured in place with a Velcro strap.<\/p>\n

PNEUMATIC PRESSURE DEVICE<\/h3>\n

SJT’s Pneumatic Pressure Device (PBA) rapidly inflates with a removable hand pump or any luer-lock syringe to minimize blood loss. Two PBAs can be used to occlude blood flow bilaterally.<\/p>\n
